Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking driving lessons with Kam’s Auto Academy. By booking lessons with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Lesson Bookings and Payments

1.1 All lessons must be paid for in advance or at the start of the lesson, unless otherwise agreed.

1.2 Block booking packages must be paid in full at the time of booking. 

1.3 Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other approved methods.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of any driving lesson.

2.2 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson will be charged at the full lesson rate, with no exceptions. This is to ensure that our instructors are not left at a financial disadvantage due to late changes.

2.3 In the case of block bookings, the cancelled lesson will be deducted from the remaining hours.

3. Lesson Expiry and Time Limits

3.1 All prepaid lessons and block booking packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase or from the date of the first lesson taken (whichever is sooner).

3.2 It is the responsibility of the learner to complete their lessons within this 12-month period. Unused lessons will expire and cannot be refunded or carried forward after this time.

3.3 Extensions may only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Kam’s Auto Academy, but are not guaranteed.

4. Instructor Availability

4.1 While every effort will be made to maintain the same instructor throughout a course of lessons, this cannot be guaranteed due to instructor availability, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4.2 Kam’s Auto Academy reserves the right to reassign instructors where necessary to ensure continuity of service.

5. Learner Responsibilities

5.1 Learners must hold a valid provisional UK driving licence and must present this at their first lesson.

5.2 Learners are required to inform their instructor of any changes to their driving licence or health conditions that may affect their ability to drive safely.

5.3 Learners must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair driving ability during lessons. Lessons will be cancelled immediately if the instructor believes the learner is unfit to drive, and the full lesson fee will still apply.

6. Driving Tests

6.1 Use of the instructor’s car for the practical driving test is subject to the instructor’s approval.

6.2 Instructors reserve the right to refuse use of the vehicle if the learner is not test-ready or poses a safety risk.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 Refunds for block bookings are only available for unused lessons and will be calculated based on the standard hourly rate, not the discounted package rate.

7.2 Refunds will not be issued for expired lessons or cancellations made within 48 hours of the lesson time.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Kam’s Auto Academy and its instructors will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from driving lessons or practical tests, unless it is caused by our negligence.

9. Complaints Procedure

9.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us directly and we will do our best to resolve the matter fairly and promptly.

10. Changes to Terms

10.1 Kam’s Auto Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
